Part 5: Tafjord and Åndalsnes

Step 1: Sota Sæter - Pollfoss Gjestehus, follows the lake and then the road going down. Turn left to pass Bråtååsen at 900m then down along framrusti to Pollfoss Gjestehus at 500 m

Step 2: Pollfoss Gjestehus - Grotli Høyfjellshotel: follows the road 15 (road to Geiranger)

Step 3:  Grotli Høyfjellshotel - Danskehytta : 14 km prepared from mid March, uphill from 900 to 1450 m

Step 4: Danskehytta - Veltdalshytta: 23km, down overall from 1450m to 1180 m - on the way we must visit Fieldfarehytta, a replica of a cabin built by some Norwegian resistants in 1944

Step 5: Veltdalshytta - Pyttbua: 11km, some top tours recommeded in stolte fjell area, Karitinden(1982m), Høgstolen(1953m) and Puttegga (1999m)

Step 6: Pyttbua - Vakkerstøylen: Go down the valley in Puttbudalen, then take left to get to the lake Ulvådalsvatnet to reach Vakkerstøylen. Also possible apparently to go over Lågtunga peak at 1650m

Step 7:  Vakkerstøylen - Tjønnebu: follow Børrebottelva upstream and then 3 lakes, from 850 to 995m

Step 8: Tjønnebu - Åndalsnes: Back to civilisation down over Trollstigen
